Blog posts

A few blog posts that I've really liked for my niche of public health and bioinformatics.  I think one purpose of this blog can be to start gathering these posts and publications.  Maybe I should also start gathering tweets?
  • Ultrafast SNP Analysis using the Burrows-Wheeler Transform of Short-read Data
  • E. coli Genome Assembled using Nanopore Data Only
  • Behind the paper: SRST2 for short read sequence typing of bacterial pathogens
  • Bacterial genomics tutorial
  • Not so fast, FastTree
  • Understanding SNPs and INDELs in microbial genomes
  • Adding command line options to your shell scripts
